A Guide to Auditioning- Sunday the 26th March

For Kids 8-15yrs: 9.30am - 11.30am

A two hour workshop aimed at providing kids aged 8-15yrs information and tools to help them audition confidently. Not only will they discover tips to help their performance in auditions, but also gain a familiarity with the audition process itself, which then effects their overall confidence and performance for auditions.

Linda McFetridge works as a Casting Director for Catch Casting and specialises in Kids castings.. She is Mum to 2 young boys and has been teaching and directing kids performance for over 20yrs.

She has over 15yrs experience in the film industry ranging from Casting, and Acting, through to Choreography, Stunt Performing, Directing and Producing.  Having such a broad experience within the industry allows Linda to talk from the point of view of the performer as well as that of those directing and working with performers, giving kids an honest account of how it really works.

Fee: $75

This seminar will:

• Walk kids through the audition process,
• Get them familiar with the studio and the environment for auditioning.
• Let them watch each other on screen to see what works for camera
• Practice some improvisation scenes to improve confidence and imagination
• Provide answers to their questions about casting and how they can do to a better audition.
